As a light sleeper, I loved the social atmosphere and dinner parties that allowed me to make friends from around the world. the hostel's central location next to Florence Cathedral made it easy for me to find my way back and ensured I wouldn't get lost. the fastest wifi throughout my entire trip was a pleasant surprise, and the simple but nice breakfast starting at 7am was perfect for those planning day trips around Tuscany. the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, even providing an extension lead when I needed more outlets in my room. the rooms were clean and adequately sized for four people, with normal single beds that were much more comfortable than bunk beds.

Comfortable private rooms and helpful staff

During our stay at Academy Hostel, we had a comfortable private room that was clean and cozy. The staff was incredibly helpful, always going above and beyond to assist us with any requests or questions we had. The location of the hostel was perfect, right in the center of town, making it convenient to explore all the nearby attractions. While there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lackluster breakfast and limited plugs near the bed, overall I would highly recommend this hostel based on the comfortable accommodations and the excellent service provided by the staff.

We had a romantic escape at this hostel and there were a few things we really enjoyed. the bathrooms were super clean and spacious, which was a pleasant surprise. the location was perfect, just a short walk away from major attractions. And thirdly, the comfortable single beds were a great change from the usual bunk beds found in most hostels.

There were a few aspects that we didn't like during our stay. the breakfast was a bit lacking, consisting mainly of cereal and juice.

academy is the perfect place to stay to explore florence, with a great location near the train station and major attractions. the staff is fantastic and the cleanliness is satisfactory. the provided towels and the chill-out patio are nice touches that add to the overall experience.

No hot water in the bathroom.

The location of the hostel was fantastic, with easy access to the main city attractions. Being able to walk everywhere was a huge convenience. Additionally, the room itself was quite spacious and had separators, giving it a more private feel. The staff at the hostel were also very helpful and friendly, providing assistance whenever needed.

There were a few downsides to my stay. the breakfast offered was subpar, with limited options and sometimes items not being refilled promptly.
